How did religion affect Shakespeare's writing?
In the times of the renaissance, God was the most important figure in the lives of most law abiding citizens. People were murdered, encarcerated, and beaten for believing differently. Shakespeare was in the midst of this. He had as much to do with religion as he had to do with writing. Throughout his works like "Macbeth" and "Hamlet", supernatural elements played key roles in his works, like the ghost of Hamlet's father; he guided Hamlet's hand from beyond the grave.

How is imagery used throughout his writing?
Imagery is often times used in Shakespeare's writing. He describes using metaphors,similes, symbols, etc. A lot of the life, emotion, and feel of his plays is given through birth to imagery. He uses a descriptive language to a simple matter to construct a pattern to the flow of the play. Shakespeare's language gives the reader a more in depth look at whatever it may be he is writing about. When reading Shakespeare on must not become fixated on the multitude of words, rather encompose the paragraph or sentences as a whole(a whole that has been described thoroughly).

How was music and song included in shakespeares plays?
Music was incorporated in Shakespeares plays for many reasons. First off, music was included to set the atmosphere of the play, such as; a slow deep song could used to express mourning. Today, movies contain songs, sometimes one after another or just a small clip, but it still makes a great impact on the audience. He also uses songs to express the thoughts or feelings of a character.
